It's a number ones conundrum again!
This happened twice in the 50s, three times in the 90s and once so far in the noughties. Never in the 60s, 70s or 80s, although Queen, Wings and Frankie were among those who came close.
Rihanna was the last to do it..Bryan Adams, Whitney and Wet Wet Wet all did it in the 90s.

Monday:

In the last 50 years of Christmas number ones, this feat has only happened 3 times...It didn't happen at all til 1992, but has happened twice this century (including this year)

Female solo singers at number one (Whitney in 92, Leona in 06 and Alexandra in 08)

Thursday:

Clive Jackson, born in Knotty Ash, Liverpool, in 1961, featured on which 80s number one hit single in the UK?

He was the Doctor in Dr and the Medics, who had a number one in 1986 with Spirit In The Sky

Wednesday:

Name the two all female duets who had number ones in the 80s on the UK singles chart?

Mel and Kim (Respectable) and Elaine Paige and Barbara Dickson (I Know Him So Well)

Tuesday:

Name the act who've never had a UK Christmas number one single, but did have the number one album at Christmas twice in the 80s...plus one of their songs has been covered as a Christmas number one..

Abba (Visitors and Super Trouper were the albums 1980 and 1981, I Have A Dream gave Westlife a Christmas number one!)
