Boy George on The Evening Show

He's been away from the pop circus for years, but over the last year Boy George has been touring all over the place.
He has been hitting the headlines for all the right reasons (rather than the wrong ones!).
He told David Heane: "I have been reminding people of what I do, rather than what I don't do... well sometimes do. I mean, I'm a musician and I haven't made music for a long time and I'd forgotten what it was like and it is great."
He said he didn't need persuading to do the Here and Now Tour, unlike Kim Wilde, who was persuaded to do it by Tony Hadley.
Asked who persuaded him, he laughed: "Nobody, I decided to do it off my own back."
He added: "I thought credit crunch, booking ahead, gig next year - fantastic!"
Boy George said he will be playing a mix of old and new stuff on the Here and Now Tour, including his new song Yes We Can, which was about Barack Obama.
He said: "I was ahead of myself, I knew he was going to win."
What about his well-documented admiration for Amy Winehouse? Will they be recording a song together any time soon?
"I have been talking a lot about her drugs problem recently, so she probably hates me now!" laughed Boy George.
He added: "But I also talk about the fact that she is a very rare talent."
