How did you get into radio?
Hospital radio, but when I joined the station went off air for six months before I was allowed to do my first broadcast. Do you think someone was trying to tell me something?! Then I did traffic n' travel and it all spiralled from there.
What's the best thing about working at Real Radio?
My cups of tea, sharing chocolate with Jane and the fact that I get to chat to so many different people each day.
Describe your radio show in one sentence?
Loads of great music and a bit of me and you in between.
As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up?
A farmer...I still stop and stare at tractors to this very day!
What was the first record you ever bought?
A hit factory compilation tape.
If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be?
Arrive when I say I'm going to arrive instead of being late all the time
If a film was made of your life which actor do you think should play your character?
Daniel Craig, as he's really buff just like me...no really, I am!
Outside of radio have you ever won an award/medal for anything and if so what?
Got a certificate and voucher for winning an art competition at school, plus, I won the sport's day wheelbarrow race too.
Do you ever get recognised when you are out and about?
Since I've been at Real Radio, it's happened once with a lady called Janet in B&Q Leeds and no, Janet's not my mum!
What's the latest song you've heard that you love and can't stop listening to?
Eliza Doolittle "Pack Up."
