1.How did you get into radio? I was a founder member of my student radio station – it’s still going too. Siren Fm at Lincoln Uni. I also did Hospital radio at two hospitals. I got my first job in radio writing adverts for Viking FM in Hull where I also got my first proper radio show! I used to present a rather riske show called Sex and Chocolate. Let’s just say we used to give away prizes that were designed to give you a real buzz.
2.What’s the best thing about working at Real Radio? There are only a few people who get to see how terrible I look from 6am till 9.
3.Describe your radio show in one sentence? It’s a rip roaring cavalcade of joy.
4.As a child, what did you want to do when you grew up? Page three model, closely followed by astronaut.
5.What was the first record you ever bought? It was a Hits album – I seem to remember it had Ghostbusters on it.
6.If you could change one thing about yourself what would it be? I would have perkier bosoms.
7.If a film was made of your life which actor do you think should play your character? Bette Midler
8.Outside of radio have you ever won an award/medal for anything and if so what? I’ve never won owt! That’s a lie actually, I have won the meat raffle in the pub before if that counts.
9.Do you ever get recognised when you are out and about? No – I wouldn’t know what to say!
