Alanis Morissette chats to David Heane about new album Havoc and Bright Lights and writing with children.

Does she find it difficult to eclipse the success of Jagged Little Pill?

"Yeah I think the comparison is natural, I also think it's very violent and for me I think it's just making sure that each record is a representation of this time period.

"Like a candid photograph when I'm 108 on my deathbed I'll just see it for what it is.  I'm not precious about it.  But it is really a sweet, sweet thing."
