Cameron 'promises' TIF cash

DAVID Cameron today appeared to call for a 'no strings attached' multi-billion pound package to improve Greater Manchester's transport.

The Conservative leader said elements of the doomed £2.75bn transport innovation fund (TIF) bid – rejected in a referendum because it was conditional on a congestion charge – should 'go ahead anyway'.
