Top girl band, The Saturdays, X-Factor finalist Rhydian, Last Choir Standing winners Only Men Aloud, and Hue and Cry, as well as a whole host of other performers and celebrities will all be joining Daryl and Gayle at this year's City Lights event this Sunday (16 November) in Sheffield city centre.

Daryl, Gayle and Justin from the breakfast show will be on stage and Dixie will also be lending a hand in Barker's Pool.

There will be special guest appearances from Anthony Cotton, who plays Sean Tully in Coronation Street, and the stars from the Lyceum's Christmas pantomime Aladdin, including Phil Daniels, who plays Kevin Wicks in Eastenders, and local star Bobby Knutt. There will also be opportunities to meet Mickey Mouse!

The Winter Garden will host a Punch and Judy Show and fun activities for young people, organised by Sheffield Children's Hospital.

There will also be entertainment in the Peace Gardens, including Children's TV characters, performances by Sheffield Storm cheerleading group and storytelling by the genie from Aladdin.

There will be a magical Christmas experience on the Moor with Father Christmas, snow, real huskies and reindeer and a live nativity scene, among other attractions. And Mickey Mouse will be switching on the Moor Christmas lights at 3pm.

The City Lights even runs from 1pm to 5.30pm in Sheffield City Centre and offers great entertainment for the whole family.
